The Bruce R. Jacob-Chris W. Altenbernd Appellate American Inn of Court
The Bruce R. Jacob-Chris W. Altenbernd Criminal Appellate American Inn of Court is the only criminal appellate American Inn of Court. Our Inn comprises assistant public defenders, assistant attorneys general, staff attorneys and judges from Florida’s Second District Court of Appeal, as well as law students from Stetson University College of Law and college students from the University of Tampa. The Inn meets monthly at the downtown Tampa Stetson University College of Law campus, the site of this year’s justice games. We bring not only our home court advantage to the games, but our extraordinary brain trust and judicial wisdom.
The Stann Givens Family Law American Inn of Court
The Stann Givens Family Law Inn of Tampa was formed in 1995. Originally known as the Family Law Inn of Court of Tampa, the Inn overwhelmingly voted to rename the Inn after Stann Givens, a founding member of the Inn and the Inn’s executive director from 1995-2014. The Stann Givens Family Law Inn of Tampa is recognized as a Platinum Inn, initially achieving their Platinum level status in 2011. While the members of the Stann Givens Family Law Inn are dedicated to the practice of family law they are also a creative and talented group of competitors. They have more spirit than any other Inn in Tampa. The Stann Givens Family Law Inn of Tampa is likely to take the gold this year as they crush their competition at the 2018 Justice Games.
The Tampa Bay American Inn of Court
Founded in 1993, the Tampa Bay American Inn of Court will be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year. Our membership includes over 100 state court litigators, who practice in a wide variety of legal areas. Justice Games Grand Champions in 2014 and Spirit Award Winners and 2015 and hosts in 2016, The Tampa Bay American Inn Of Court is proud to merge fellowship with professionalism in one of its favorite events of the year.
